Unique Group of Institutions (UGI) organized a Drug Awareness Seminar to educate students on the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Ahmed Ali Farooqi, followed by a soulful Naat by Sheraz Ahmad and the National Anthem. A thought-provoking documentary on drug addiction was then presented, highlighting the struggles of affected individuals. four categories — Junior 1, Junior 2, Middle, and High — with participants ranging from Prep to Grade 12 (excluding Grade 10).
Ms. Maria Ali, Assistant Director of the Anti-Narcotics Force, delivered an informative lecture on drug awareness, emphasizing prevention and youth responsibility. An interactive Q/A session followed, engaging students in meaningful discussion. Major Muhammad Nazeer, Deputy Director ANF, addressed the audience with an inspiring speech on collective efforts against drug abuse.
The seminar concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Abdul Manan Khurram, Chairman UGI, who reiterated the institution’s commitment to student well-being and social awareness. A souvenir presentation marked the end of this impactful and enlightening event.
