Co-Curricular Department Concludes Three-Day Performing Arts Workshop with Grand Closing Ceremony

The Co-Curricular Department of Unique Group of Institutions (UGI) successfully concluded its Three-Day Performing Arts Workshop with a grand Closing Ceremony at the Dr. Nisar Ahmad Rana Auditorium. he workshop aimed to enhance students' creativity, confidence, communication skills, leadership, and stage performance through practical learning and interactive sessions.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali, followed by a Naat-e-Rasool (SAWW) by Alhaj Rafiq Zia. Renowned singer Tahir Abbas performed the National Anthem, while celebrated artist Shabnam Majeed captivated the audience with a soulful rendition of Kalam-e-Iqbal. Renowned drama artist Mr. Tanveer Syed inspired students by sharing insights from his professional journey.

Students also presented a powerful tableau, directed by Saleem Bismal, highlighting social values, cultural heritage, and national identity. Resource Person Ms. Raheela Ashraf appreciated the students' enthusiasm and emphasized the importance of communication, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression.

The ceremony was graced by Punjab Minister for School Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, MPA Ms. Saadia Salma Taimur, Former MPA Ms. Faiza Malik, renowned motivational speaker Syed Qasim Ali Shah, anchor and analyst Mr. Salman Hassan, Prof. Dr. Uzma Khanum, Principal of Wahdat Road Degree College, along with other distinguished guests from education, media, and the arts.

Addressing the audience, Rector Prof. Amjad Ali Khan highlighted UGI's commitment to providing quality education alongside character building and co-curricular development. Director Prof. Waseem Anwar Chaudhary appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee, trainers, faculty members, and students, emphasizing the role of co-curricular activities in nurturing well-rounded individuals.

In his keynote address, Chairman Prof. Abdul Mannan Khurram congratulated the organizers and participants on the successful completion of the workshop and reaffirmed UGI's commitment to innovation, creativity, and holistic student development.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and souvenirs to guests, resource persons, and participants, followed by a group photograph and lunch. The successful workshop provided students with a valuable platform to develop their artistic talent, leadership, confidence, and communication skills, reflecting UGI's continued dedication to excellence in education and personal development.
