UGI Arts Competition 2025 – Celebrating Creativity and Expression

The Unique Group of Institutions recently held its much-anticipated UGI-Level Arts Competition 2025, a vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination, and artistic talent. The competition featured four categories — Junior 1, Junior 2, Middle, and High — with participants ranging from Prep to Grade 12 (excluding Grade 10).

The event commenced with students expressing their artistic vision through paintings based on assigned topics. Each brushstroke reflected their creativity, passion, and unique perspective. Prior to the competition, students were selected through class-level and campus-level rounds, showcasing the best talent from across the UGI network.

Adding to the event’s prestige, Professor Abdul Manan Khurram, Chairman UGI, along with other high-ups, graced the occasion and encouraged the participants. The judging panel comprised four accomplished visual artists — Ms. Attiya Usman, Ms. Huma Maqbool, Ms. Aqsa Khan, and Ms. Attiya Javeed — who evaluated the artworks across all categories. After thoughtful deliberation, three position holders were selected from each category, recognizing excellence in creativity, technique, and artistic expression. Before the competition, the thesis display provided a glimpse into the students’ conceptual and visual development, adding depth to the event.

The UGI Arts Competition once again proved to be an inspiring platform for young artists to showcase their talents and celebrate the power of art in education.
